Week 4 (our first week)

Wow, what a first week. Setup was a bit crazy, and a bit rushed, but we made it! I must admit that I was a little nervous being a Director for the first time, but everything went well.

We met our first campers on Sunday night, and had a few problems with the signs on Monday, but things just seemed to fall into place. Our campers all got along great, and most of them were ready to do Zen Bens by lunchtime on Tuesday. My Staff had some creative and fun ESP's and really got into the Camp Spirit. Wednesday we had a fantastic Water Challenge, Thursday was a guitar hero contest that most of the camp participated in and cheered everyone else on. Before we knew it, Friday was here, and our campers were gone. Looking back, there are always things you would have done different, but that is why we have first days, first weeks and learn and grow from the lessons learned. I am looking forward to one of the best Summers of my life, and it's going to be at Cybercamps @ UCSD
